Did Jesus Claim to be the Messiah?

In this video, Pastor Robert Furrow of Calvary Church discusses whether Jesus claimed to be the Messiah. He begins by looking at four things the Old Testament tells us about the Messiah and then examines four claims that Jesus made, which fulfilled those Messianic passages. The first prophecy about the Messiah was in Genesis 3:15, which promised suffering victoriously. The second promise was that all nations would be blessed by one person, as stated in Genesis 12:1-3.

05:02 still in the book of genesis is a promise that all nations are going to be blessed by one person listen to what the bible says in genesis chapter 12 verses one through three and this is god speaking to abraham who was an idolater that god revealed himself to called him into the land of canaan to use him to build a nation to send the messiah into the world listen to what it says now the lord had said to abram get out of your country from your family and from your father's house to a land that i will show you and i will make you a great nation and i will bless you and make your name great and you shall be a blessing and i will bless those who bless you and i will curse those who curse
