The Problem of Replacement Theology & the Pre-Trib-Rapture (Calvary Chapel Tucson)

In this video, Pastor Robert Furrow of Calvary Church discusses the problem of replacement theology and the pre-tribulation rapture. He explains that replacement theology is the belief that the church has replaced the nation of Israel and that all promises made to Israel are fulfilled in the church. Pastor Furrow argues that this belief is false and provides five passages from the Bible to support his argument. He also notes that replacement theology became popular during the time of Augustine and after the nation of Israel was desolate, and that Luther and Calvin both believed in replacement theology or something similar. However, he emphasizes that the Bible clearly tells us that the church is made up of Jews and Gentiles, and that God will keep his promises to the nation of Israel during the tribulation period.
